COMMUNITY CENTER

PLUS CAR RECYCLING CENTER

PREVIEW ENTIRE PROJECT

What will happen if in 50 years from now we do not use cars and instead we have a way to reduce CO2 emissions? This Community Center plus Car Recycle Center was intended to be built in East Village, New York. It is an approach to the future health of the society. Each community will be aware that waste management is essential. By creating a Center for recycle with a program that allows those cars that in the future can be used to create art.

It is a three story building with a recycle center including a conveyor belt running from the first floor to the third floor to transfer the heavy materials. The second floor is for production while the third floor has a gallery and an auditorium to accommodate the residents, employees and visitors. The process includes breaking, crashing, recycling, selecting and finally transferring  the pieces of the car to create art.  The mail goal was to use synergistic infrastructures and regeneration through cyclical processes.
