PREVIEW ENTIRE PROJECT

Learning about the ways in which people commute and access educational facilities on different types of public transportation methods is beneficial and important.  My goal is to get an idea how many educational facilities are in a determinate area. In addition, I will be exploring how public transportations such as buses, trains, bike racks and  taxis are important and accessible to students. For example, The City College of New York has thousands of students thanks to mass transportation options.

As a result, the availability of public transportation allows people to get to places and more importantly to school. New York City is a well developed city. Therefore, the existence of close public transportations to these facilities can not only be accessible but beneficial for students. To understand the City, the facilities should make visible the relationship with transportation networks. In this research, I will identify and analyze along with the maps the available transportation methods, educational facilities and parks in Harlem, New York, NY and Mott Haven, Bronx, NY.
